Welcoming Customers with Disabilities to your School or Board Site


In November, 2008 Ontario Education Services Corporation partnered with the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario in an Enabling Change Project to develop resources that will assist school boards with meeting the requirements of the AODA Customer Service standard. The resources include this training module which is accompanied by an “Accessibility Tips Booklet” (first document below) and the “Accessible Ontario - Customer Service: A Guide for School Boards.” All resources were developed using the combined expertise from senior officials in school boards and staff from the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario. They have ensured that the resources are practical, timely and useful.
